you know what I dont like? When Im trying to explain what an anime is to people and they say; "oh, so it is a cartoon." NO it is not a CARTOON. there is a difference between anime and cartoons. First of all, cartoons are generally for younger people, like, 12 and under right? well, Anime is definetely NOT for viewers 10 and under. (even though you might be able to find an anime for young people, like this one; Lucky Star) why is it not for them? It just isnt. Take this anime for example; WARNING this opening contains swears, and the music aint pretty. I dont watch this anime, but I know people who do; Death Note. i am not saying that kids shouldnt watch it at ALL, its just that most of the animes are intended for older audiences. My favourite, however, One Piece is watched by all ages because it is one the more milder shows. Second; the animation has a huge difference from cartoons. Compare; My Gym Partner vs Naruto Shippuden
So there you have it. AND it is in Japanese, unless you watch the English Dub versions, but, they suck. Anime is much much much better than cartoons.

OK, so, I was supposed to go to Kayla's place at lunch today for her dance recital, but, guess what? She hasnt shown up for school yet. And school started ten minutes ago. So, in other words, if she doesnt show up for school before this class is over, I very sure it is safe to assume she isnt going to show up. And if she doesnt, then I m not going to her recital because I have no way of getting there. But I also just remembered that Amber was at her house yesterday and as far as I know, amber is staying over night. If this be true, then Amber is also at kayla's. It would make sense too, because Amber isnt at school either. Jeez, if it turns out that she just ditched me, Im gonna be p-ode' (pi**ed off)  =(

We have to find a song that suits "our life" and I cant find anything AT ALL. I think there s something wrong with me if I cant find a single song. bwahahahaha my neck hurts. I hate this day. ANNND I dont have earphones so I cant listen to any music.

According to recent reports, a coalition of over 40 U.S. and Japanese manga companies have started an initiative to take down 30 of the most popular scanlation sites on the internet. The coalition, which includes big names like Shueisha, Viz, Square Enix, and Kodansha, claim "scanlation aggregator" web sites now "host thousands of pirated titles" and "[undermine] foreign licensing opportunities and unlawfully [cannibalize] legitimate sales". The targeted sites have not been named, but the coalition released a statement saying they have already threatened legal action against most of them.  (RAWR they deserve it... in my opinion)

The folks at Warner Bros. announced recently a new version of the 80s cartoon series ThunderCats will be making its way to Cartoon Network. The series is being animated by Studio 4°C, the same folks behind The Animatrix. The WB made a pretty bold choice for its "first anime series". Here's to hoping it pans out for them.

OK so guess what?! I have finally decided on a name for meh wittle birdy. His name is JOJO! Aint that an awesome name??  Well, Im not sure if he is a boy or a girl, but im pretty sure he is a boy because he was the largest babe in the nest. Japanese anime music DJ, DJ Kacho, recently found himself trapped in a washroom in Akihabara without any toilet paper on the roll. So yeah. Twitter. Heck of a world in which we live today, eh?

Talk about clever marketing. Schick Japan has launched a new campaign with a One Piece theme. From June 1 to September 30, fans can buy cans of shaving foam featuring One Piece characters, buy razors having original OP-themed holders, or join a contest with prizes like One Piece towels and Hawaiian shirts. I guess they're cutting a path straight to their demographic. Lol.

so today is monday, last weekend was fun. Kayla was supposed to come to yorkton with us but there was a mistake and she didnt come. but it is planned for her to come next weekend. I hate monday. Dad bought a pellet gun last weekend too because there are gophers in our yard and their digging under the garage. So yeah. Kayla said she is a little scared of yorkton but i told her not to worry because we arent even in the city. However, people deal out drugs in the trails after supper. But i dont think i would even plan on going after supper.

Cheaters Will Be Reaped

Like many MMOs, Guild Wars has its share of cheaters. The staff recently banned 3,700 cheat accounts, which isn't really all that spectacular by itself. So what made this mass banning different? Cheaters were killed off publicly with Dhuum, a giant Grim Reaper character, who came up from the ground and mowed them down for all to see. I think that reaper is slightly feared.

Anyways, today is friday and after school im going to yorkton and Kayla is coming too. I love fridays. I also like wednesdays. And Thursdays.. I also JUST found out that SOMEBODY forgot their gym clothes. (k-a-y-l-a) lol. Oh well. Furho is probably going to make her do gym anyways... hopefully. I have absoloutley nothing more to say right now. And it is kinda ticking me off because it seems like I never have anything to say DAILY. and I hate it and it makes me mad.

Word on the street is Susan Boyle, the 49-year-old Scottish woman famous for blowing everyone away with her voice on Britain's Got Talent, will be singing the main them of the new anime film "Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW", set to hit theaters in June. This is Boyle's second appearance musically in an anime, having had her famous "I Dreamed A Dream" cover used in the Himitsu Kessa Taka no Tsume III movie. Talk about music that crosses borders.

OK so for today's news, actually, first im going to say this; I have noticed the one of the videos on my blog do not work, so I am going to fix that after school today, or, if I can, this class. Ok so, now to some more news and announcements.

Yesterday, I had finally made and confirmed my internet ID. Dont know what that is? It is simply a name you give to people on the E-net instead of your real name. It is kind of like a pen name, or signature. Mine, comes with a picture of my "internet self", which is also something that is included in your e-net ID. My name is Tsuki Hanata. So if you ever see that name, or my e-net avatar, thats ME! I will post a picture of my current ID card, not that it will change at all, that is, unless I find a person that looks exactly like the one on my card. Oh i just remembered though, I dont have that picture with me, so, I will post it at THIS post after school today. OK? ok.

Nintendo has finally set a date for the release of the ninth main installment of the popular Dragon Quest franchise. The game, entitled Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies, is slated for a July 11th release Stateside. Now let's hope it stays on the shelves longer than the Dragon Quest V remake.

Looks like is Splitsville for High and Mighty Color. Recent reports state because members of the band have clashing attitudes and goals, it will be breaking up after the release of its next single, "Re:Ache", which is due to drop August 11. The group performed the themes to several anime, including Bleach, Darker than BLACK, Gundam Seed Destiny and the upcoming Sengoku Basara 2 anime.

A thief at an Australian comic store for free comics day bagged a large X-Men omnibus that was most certainly not free. He was spotted by the owner, who tailed the thief and got people to watch the door before he and several others approached the thief and retrieved the hefty comic. Oh yeah, the owner? Dressed like Spider-Man at the time. The guys at the door? Jedi. Sometimes, life is just awesome like this...

Last weekend was fun. On friday, we went to southey to see quest. Me and allison had to go to the very end of the pasture, but we took some detours through the swamp, out of curiousity, and we came accross an island in the middle of it. TAKE NOTE: we did not know that this was there because the swamp is in the bush, so there are trees all over the place. Anyhow, on this island was a horse skull, and a bunch of other bones. Allison wanted to take the skull home, so we planned to pick it up on our way back with quest. So then after we brushed and rode him around the farm, we went back out to the very end of the pasture, where we had found a pond and creek. Sadie, discovered the joy of swimming and playing fetch in the water. On our way back, though, we came accross the place where Jack, the owner of the farm, would put dead cows, so there where many bones, and two skulls. Then we heard Jack's tractor, and, knowing that mom wanted us to come back to the house, "quickly", we thought that he was coming to look for us and that mom was there too, and that we where in trouble, so we called the dogs and dashed (or just ran, if you prefer) down a trail and into the bush. Eventually, we cam to a clearing in the bush and it was very pretty. But, laying in the clearing was a young cow's skull, a yearling. So of course, allison just had to have that too. Meanwhile, I had spotted a bush of pussy willows! Mom LOVES pussy willows. So I snapped a couple of branches off for her. Then, we watched as the green john deer tractor putted by. (we could see the bright green through the branches...and hear it. But he didnt see us.) After jack had gone around to the creek, me and alli came out of the bush. Allison grabbed the dairy cow skull, and the other cow skull along with the yearling's. She couldnt carry them all, of course and we had to get to the next set of bush before jack came around. so she dropped one and we started off to the house, But, two skulls was to heavy so she put down the yearling's skull. And we booked it to the next bush, but, we did not make it. JAck saw us as he cam earound the corner and started driving towards us, so we walked towards him. He just smiled and said, "want a ride?" Allison got this huge smile on her face and said yes. So he lowered the little thing that you carry rocks and stuff in and we sat in that. Sadie and Magoo jumped in too. So yea, that how we got home. But, halfway back, Sadie jumped out. She alked alongside us for like, one minute and then tried to jump back in again! But she couldnt! And me and alli where scared thatshe was going to et herself ran over or something so after her first attempt had failed, and the second, I said; "come on sadie! Up!" And she put her paws up on the thingy and I grabbed her and pulled her up. Finally, the yard came into view and there was mom. Just standing there. Watching us...evil look on her face. But, she wasnt that mad. I gave her the Pussy Willows and she just like; "oh! Whered you find these?" told her and she said thank you. Then her gaze turned to the dairy cow skull allison was holding. (she was gripping the horns of it.) Mom was just like, nothing really. She was just suprised and and asked whered she got it and why she brought it back. Then, she pointed out something we hadnt noticed, there was a bullet hole in her head. Jack just said; "yup, she was a dairy cow. But she got old and sickly so I had to put her down" Then alli asked if she could bring it home and jack just said; "oh go ahead! Of course!" Mom just sighed and said "ok. go put it in the trunk." And so, we left. So yea, that trip to see quest was A LOT of fun! We might even go back yet this week because it is supposed to be like, 20 degrees celsiuos or however you spell it outside all week long! I hope we do go again...

Im so excited. My birthday is in a matter of days. I will be 15 and then I can get my learners!!!!! But im also excited becasue we might be going out to see Quest some time this week. So Im also looking forward to that because I havent seen him for a reallly long time. In fact, I dont think Ive seen him since before winter. =( But, thats all I have to say today.

so tonight, we went and saw How To Train Your Dragon. It (in my opinion) is a very good show. It was funny, cute and adventuresome all at the same time! AND it had a VERY good storyline. The story line was basically, unpredictable, my favourite thing about how it was put together is that instead of just jumping into the adventure, it kind of, in a sense, led you by the hand into it and you kinda got to see how the choices the character made all led up to it. Get what Im saying??? Anyways, in simple, I thought it had a better storyline then avatar. And when you thought it was over, there actually turned out to be another half hour of it! here are some quotes from critics;

So just yesterday, Monday, my mom told me this old "saying";

Do you understand what it means? It is talking about someone's personality, but before i can explain it better, I 'll just use my mom and my 's conversation. ( yes, i put my's) we where talking about something and that led into me saying that I am not a smart person at all, and all I do at school is sit in the back corner of the classroom unnoticed or "invisible" -which is probably how kids would put it now. She just smiled and said Im not stupid and told me that. so that explains the Quiet waters run deep part of it, as for 'shallow brooks babble' I guess thats saying that the others that just blast their mouths off arent that smart. Im not trying to call myself smart though! But if you think about it, this saying is 100 % right.

It is Monday, and then its Tuesday and then Wednesday and soo then its the easter break! yay! However, im SICK yea, sick. Mom said I could call her and come home halfway through the day, but I found out Kayla is sick to so Im gonna stay at school with her so we can both go through school sneezing and sniffling. X_X hopefuly this doesnt last for the rest of the week or right through the easter break. Ugh my ears popped on the bus but their back to normal. OHH you know what else happened on the weekend though? I have decided to enter Sadie into flyball. =D I think she is going to be very good at it. Today we started this course that we need to take to get a job at our age. Its new, and any young worker... OK im not going to try to explain it because I really really dont feel like it. So Im going to copy and paste what the teacher said;

We are taking the Young Workers Readiness Certificate Course so that you could potentially get a job as a 14 or 15 year old. As of March 31, 2010 all young workers will need to have this certificate to be able to be employed. Even if you do not plan on getting a job in the near future, this course is excellent preparation for when you do get a job & looks great on a resume!!

THAT my friend, is what we did this morning. And im going to stop talking cause im getting frustrated for no particular reason.

So, I was just thinking about dogs a little while ago, dont ask me why because I dont know, and This is what I came up with;

You know how there are Pure Breds, and then there are mutts? I was just thinking that there really is no such thing as a pure breed or Pure Bred dog. Pure breds are just mutts that someone gave a name to, becuase, if you think about it, "pure breds" have a whole bunch of different breeds mixed into them to make that breed, and mutts, are, well, the same thing. And since all dog breeds really originated from wild dogs such as wolves and dingos, I think that these wild dogs are really the only TRUE pure breeds.

You know what really bugs me? People. Allow me to explain;

Kid's loved one dies, stays home from school for a week and people say; ok! No more missing school. Your done crying! dont worry, your friends will cheer you up and you'll forget it even happened because you'll be working! i HATE this kind of thing, people are just obsessed with schooling, our lives revolve around school! Why? Because if you go to school, (including college) you will get a job that gives you lots and lots of money, and then you will be rich and you will be happy for the rest of your life! Whats more, we are like dogs in a game of fetch. I say this because the person throwing the toy is the big companies, they are always throwing out something new, and the dogs, us, go and get it. Then we come back and the companies have a brand new toy for us to go get, even though we just got the other one, but this one has a squeaker in it! So we HAVE to go get it. Do you understand? If not, i'll explain. I'll use the cellphone industry; a guy buys a brand new cellphone! about a month later, the cell company comes out with this new phone, and you just gotta get this new phone because OMG you can listen to music on it!! So you throw away your month old phone to get this new one. We just HAVE to get more and more schooling because with all this schooling we get big houses and fancy cars and lots of land and all the latest stuff, but the only reson we need this is because we have JUST GOT TO BE BETTER than our neighbor, or better then our friends, but, in the end, you arent really happy with this stuff, even though you where SOOO sure that your life would be better! But its not, theres just more to worry about. Right?! Whats wrong with a simple life in an apartment, a job at costco or as a clerk at a hospital with last year's cellphone? hmmm???? Remember that quote by some guy; "simplicity is the key"?

some other news regarding last night; we rented some movies, mom rented Iron Road for her and Jijii to watch and me and allison got Ponyo. I dont know wether or not Iron road was a good movie, but when i came upstairs after ponyo was over, they where still watching, howver, jijii was sleeping. Anyhow, this qas my 2nd seeing Ponyo and it is a very good show, it isnt very "known" about because disney brought it over from Japan and had people voice over it or something like that so North America could watch, however, it is a very famous movie amongst Otakus, such as myself, (for definition, see Lazy Afternoons Cosplay Blog, located on the sidebar of this page)because it is from Studio Ghibli, and is diretced by the famous Hayao Miyazaki, who directed My Neighbor Totoro, Castle In The Sky, Kiki`s Delivery Service, and Spirited Away. Sheldon owns My Neighbor Totoro I do beleive because we have watched it severeal times. (these movies are aslo VERY famous among Otakus, so if you ask an Otaku who Totoro is, or even mention his name they will know what your talking about =D)

Today in comp class, we read the document that said everything about a child's rights. it was actually kinda boring. But, thats school I guess. It was very long anyways. Thats all I have to say about today

Because Jijii said NO because... uhh i dont know why actually, but thats what allison said i think she just chickened out cause she didnt want to miss school. (who in the world would pass up a chance to go to ferni instead of school?!)

Im thinking that maybe i should stop studying Ornithiology cause Im just going to forget everything that i have studied because i wont be able to put it to good use (/practice) because NOBODY in my house will let me get a bird because "they poop" "they make to much noise" "HAMSTERS ARE BETTER" and no, hamsters are NOT better,they crap and walk at the same time and sleep all day and run away and chew on things and they STINK ( if your worried about noise, you dont have to because id be getting a dove)

OK so I have some bad news, well, it probably isnt bad news to you, but it is to me, anyhow, I finished off the 150 episodes of One Piece that spencer put on my computer, so when sheldon came over to help fix our basement (he is in the Drywalling industry) spencer came with him and gave me more one piece. However, here is the problem, for some reason when I went to go continue watching, I found that his external hardrive that had all the one piece episodes on it had copied episodes 233 and up, Im only on episode 151! So yea, theres a problem. So I sent him a messgae on facebook to tell him that hey! theres been a mistake. He just said; "WHAT!? How the heck did that happen?" because we where both positive that he had copied the right ones. Oh well I guess. I just gotta remove the ones he gave me, to make room for the episodes that I need. And maybe if we go over to their house for a sleepover or something this weekend, I will just take my external hardrive (it's name is Passport, but actaully, it's Jijii's but i use it more then him) and spencer can copy the right episodes onto it at their house. So yea. There is my solution. Otherwise, I have to wait until they come over to my house again.

Ok, so right now I am sitting in comp class, the teacher isnt here. Yea, theres a sub, and I am done ALL of my work. It is 9:42 and I have been sitting here doin nothing at all sinece the begining of class. Class ends at 10:05. So Im gonna be sitting here for quite awhile so this entry is probably painful to read... waree!(sorry). Oh my friend just made a post. Im going to go read it.

I am finally finished my "life story" book. The only thing holding me back from handing it in is that SOMEBODY (to be specific, mom, allison and Jijii. >=( ) wont give me a picture of themselves. well, this is not going to be a very good post because I am very tired. Anyhow, I know I havent been making any new posts lately, but thats becuase I have had a lot too do. Both acedemic and chores and stuff. Anyways, I have been working on this My life Story Book for our career guidance/comp and so far it is 30 pages long. So yea, i have been working hard on it. Some other things I have been doing is research and studying but I cannot tell you what I am studying because it is "classified Information" until further notice, but when Im far enough into it, I will tell you. Ok another thing is that in social class, we are making these timelines and they are due tomorrow. And you know what? Im not done mine! And I cannot work on it because I was in such a huge panic to get all my stuff together and catch the bus sand to go home and study after school today that I forgot it in my locker. But Mr. Czemers said that Mr. Cater (our substitute for tomorrow) might give us part of that class to finish it up... But im still worried.Oh yea, that reminds me, I have 2 tests coming up next week! yay... And then there are the daily chores around the house and ELA and Math homework to worry about... ugh I probably should drop something but you know what? Im not going to. Cause' some of this stuff wont last forever right? Like my research, the sooner I get it done the less stress right? So yea, thats my view. Anyhow, Im going to end it here. Oh and please dont think that Im not even doing these things because Im on the computer quite often after school and everything because half the things Im working on involve a computer. As for the other stuff like social, I do that early in the morning or late at night, like around 10:00, or 9:30, depends when Im finished with the other stuff. Anyhow, Bye.

In career guidance/computers yesterday, we started these "my life story book" on microsoft publisher. Anyhow, we have to basicaly write, or i guess, type, a book about things in our lives, like our accomplishments, our family members, happiest times, saddest times etc. So uuhhh yeah. Thats it. Hmmm what else could i talk about.... oh yea. Today, not yesterday, Kayla brought a cosmetology textbook from a university. She plans on studying it and learning the lessons inside so she kinda has a headstart I guess. It is quite an interesting book actually. Oh, that reminds me, i forgot my reading book for ELA, and the overdue ones.... D<

For today's career guidance class, we have to present a poster about our personality, and if our personality was food, what would it be. Oh and we had to take these quizzes to find out our personality. The results the quiz came up with for me, where completely wrong, not accurate at all so it is going to be hard to present. OK uhm this post isnt that important, but I have finally found my "happy song". If you dont know what that is, I guess I will tell you. So, the week off of school is over, and it is monday and I am at career guidance class right now. Shkashi, we are not doing school right now. Instead, we are watching dirty jobs. Why you ask? Simply because this class is awesome. Yeah. right now, mike rowe is at a penguin place at a zoo. Im guessing he is going to have to clean out the exhibit. Before, he had to clean out silos and clean out the "boot pit" and sort the food and then herd the cows to go and eat. It took all day long. Oh and he also had to work at a winery. That, my friend, is more dirty than you think. >=)

So it is that time of year again, yes, valentines, and family day, and I have the whole week off from school. =) Im in yorkton right now, just got here today, and I will soon be heading to someone's house with my cousin. It is a big house with three dogs and a cat. Nya! It is going to be fun. But, right now There is only two people in the apartment, and they are both sleeping so im kinda all alone. At least until my aunt and mom get back from shopping. Oh.....mattay (wait).....they just walked in. I am going to go see what is for supper... chicken. Thats all they will tell me.

Ok so for today's front page news is.... I have now started watching another anime show. what is it called? It is called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya or just Haruhi Suzumiya. It is a very funny show and I definetely recomend it for MATURE people. Why do I say mature? watch it and you will find out. However, it is a very good show. Now, your probably wondering what it is about, I cant give you 100% of details or anything because I just started watching it today. But I can tell you this, the show follows the life of Haruhi Suzumiya, a young and very active high school girl and the life of those who are caught up in her tricks. While Haruhi is the central character to the plot, the story is told from the point of view of Kyon, one of Haruhi’s classmates. In her twisted way, Haruhi drags Kyon in creating a high school club named the S.O.S Brigade. Eventually, Haruhi forcefully drafts Kyon, who only stays in the club to protect other helpless victims of Haruhi’s “voluntary arrests”. As the story prolongs, Kyon finds that each of these supposedly “helpless victims” has a specific reason to be there. So yea. thats it. In the picture below, the girl who is pulling the guy by his tie, whom is Kyon, is haruhi. The rest of the characters are other "club members".

Okeydokey, so in ELA class we have started the poem topic or whatever. I dont mind learning about poems (again) but, I haven't done poems in la class for about 2 years or something cause the teachers seem to like to skip it. Maybe I just didnt pay attention when we did do poems in the past so i dont remember. ANyHoW, the teacher wants us to write a poem that kind of paints a picture of our past experiences with poems. It is not due tomorrow, but I think im going to at least start mine now. Sometimes I like writing poems, but when I do, they dont usually rhyme, although i dont think all poems rhyme....

OK so it is friday after school. Any PLans? Me? No. However my parents want to go to a movie. There are no movies out right now that I want to see, or in other words, I have seen all the movies I want to see, and there hasnt been a movie that has come out that I want to see. Get it>>>>? No? fine. Anyhow, my mom wants to see 2012, which i really really am not interested in. Why? Because a) it is long

I literrally dropped my fork because even though they kinda look alike and kinda have things in common i didnt notice at all. Shkashi, i guess you could say im kinda slow sometimes. But yea. it was quite a shocker to me. So now Ace is my second #1 favourite character (yes yes i have two #1 fave characters), so im gonna have to get some pics of him to save my to compy. "=0 stalker!!!" but One piece is an anime so all the characters are animated so that doesnt make me a stalker. :/ If you are interested (dont know why u would be) Below is a picture of luffy and ace. Luffy is the one with that STRAW hat. (Yea yea they are pirates but the show is also a comedy so thats why luffy is stuffing his face.)
