Last Weekend

Last weekend was fun. On friday, we went to southey to see quest. Me and allison had to go to the very end of the pasture, but we took some detours through the swamp, out of curiousity, and we came accross an island in the middle of it. TAKE NOTE: we did not know that this was there because the swamp is in the bush, so there are trees all over the place. Anyhow, on this island was a horse skull, and a bunch of other bones. Allison wanted to take the skull home, so we planned to pick it up on our way back with quest. So then after we brushed and rode him around the farm, we went back out to the very end of the pasture, where we had found a pond and creek. Sadie, discovered the joy of swimming and playing fetch in the water. On our way back, though, we came accross the place where Jack, the owner of the farm, would put dead cows, so there where many bones, and two skulls. Then we heard Jack's tractor, and, knowing that mom wanted us to come back to the house, "quickly", we thought that he was coming to look for us and that mom was there too, and that we where in trouble, so we called the dogs and dashed (or just ran, if you prefer) down a trail and into the bush. Eventually, we cam to a clearing in the bush and it was very pretty. But, laying in the clearing was a young cow's skull, a yearling. So of course, allison just had to have that too. Meanwhile, I had spotted a bush of pussy willows! Mom LOVES pussy willows. So I snapped a couple of branches off for her. Then, we watched as the green john deer tractor putted by. (we could see the bright green through the branches...and hear it. But he didnt see us.) After jack had gone around to the creek, me and alli came out of the bush. Allison grabbed the dairy cow skull, and the other cow skull along with the yearling's. She couldnt carry them all, of course and we had to get to the next set of bush before jack came around. so she dropped one and we started off to the house, But, two skulls was to heavy so she put down the yearling's skull. And we booked it to the next bush, but, we did not make it. JAck saw us as he cam earound the corner and started driving towards us, so we walked towards him. He just smiled and said, "want a ride?" Allison got this huge smile on her face and said yes. So he lowered the little thing that you carry rocks and stuff in and we sat in that. Sadie and Magoo jumped in too. So yea, that how we got home. But, halfway back, Sadie jumped out. She alked alongside us for like, one minute and then tried to jump back in again! But she couldnt! And me and alli where scared thatshe was going to et herself ran over or something so after her first attempt had failed, and the second, I said; "come on sadie! Up!" And she put her paws up on the thingy and I grabbed her and pulled her up. Finally, the yard came into view and there was mom. Just standing there. Watching us...evil look on her face. But, she wasnt that mad. I gave her the Pussy Willows and she just like; "oh! Whered you find these?" told her and she said thank you. Then her gaze turned to the dairy cow skull allison was holding. (she was gripping the horns of it.) Mom was just like, nothing really. She was just suprised and and asked whered she got it and why she brought it back. Then, she pointed out something we hadnt noticed, there was a bullet hole in her head. Jack just said; "yup, she was a dairy cow. But she got old and sickly so I had to put her down" Then alli asked if she could bring it home and jack just said; "oh go ahead! Of course!" Mom just sighed and said "ok. go put it in the trunk." And so, we left. So yea, that trip to see quest was A LOT of fun! We might even go back yet this week because it is supposed to be like, 20 degrees celsiuos or however you spell it outside all week long! I hope we do go again...
